We had a lovely snowstorm! Just in time to give a white Christmas...think it's cold enough that the snow will stick. School was canceled so it was a perfect opportunity for my son and I to decorate the 3 little trees that I drug out of my mother's basement. I was amazed that my son was so "into it" this year. We had fun and while we were decorating watched bits of "Earnest Saves Christmas" on tv...all amongst falling snow and the sweet fragrance of Christmas candles. Good memories were built and old ones recalled as we pulled out decorations from the past. We haven't had access to the decorations for a couple of years now so it was rather fun to pull them out...see pic above!

I'm just so thankful this year for friends, feeling connected, being loved and genuinely loving in return ...and a sense of belonging.

Merry Christmas and I hope the New Year brings many blessings and closeness to God...blessed and happy is the man whom God draws near!
